The Infectious Disease division currently offers comprehensive case management for those individuals living with Clinicians utilize effective tools for ensuring healthier behaviors and innovative approaches to providing HIV case management, infectious disease prevention (HIV, tuberculosis, Hepatitis), mental health support, and addressing substance abuse issues.

Those receiving services at IBC have the benefit of working with a highly trained case management team who has experience in navigating the arduous psychosocial service system in the District. Clients will also benefit form stress reduction techniques (massages, bio- feedback), creative medication adherence lesson plans, and self- esteem building strategies (empowerment activities) offered at the agency. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of individuals afflicted with HIV/ AIDS by supporting them in their quest to obtain long-term stability.
